Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Store Sales Manager with a proven track record of at least 5 years of hands-on experience in retail sales management, particularly in the home appliances or consumer electronics sector. As the Senior Store Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for the store’s sales performance, operations, and team management. Your leadership and strategic thinking will be critical in driving sales growth, optimizing store operations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will be a key figure in mentoring your team, managing stock levels, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring that the store meets its financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team to exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Set clear sales goals, monitor progress, and provide ongoing motivation and guidance to the team.
  • Team Management & Development: Manage, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for team members to grow within the company.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure the store provides a world-class customer experience by offering expert advice, product demonstrations, and personalized service. Resolve complex customer issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, campaigns, and promotions to boost store performance, increase foot traffic, and maximize sales during peak seasons.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, product displays, stock replenishment, and ensuring the store environment is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Product Knowledge & Training: Ensure that the sales team has up-to-date knowledge of all home appliances and consumer electronics products. Conduct regular training sessions on new products, features, and sales techniques.
  • Merchandising & Inventory Management: Optimize product placement, visual merchandising, and instore displays to drive customer engagement and maximize sales. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and analyse store performance metrics (sales, foot traffic, conversion rates) and provide detailed reports to senior management. Identify trends and implement corrective actions to achieve sales targets.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Manage the store’s budget and ensure adherence to financial targets. Control operating costs and optimize profit margins without compromising on customer service or product quality.
  • Promotions & Campaigns: Execute in-store promotions and marketing campaigns, ensuring all promotional materials are displayed correctly and that the team is aligned with marketing goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in retail sales management, with at least 3-4 years in a senior management role, preferably within home appliances, electronics, or consumer goods.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of driving sales, achieving targets, and increasing revenue in a competitive retail environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management abilities with experience in leading a diverse team and achieving team goals.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of home appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwaves) and consumer electronics.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and improve sales outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire both customers and team members.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in managing flagship or high-volume retail stores.
  • res. Knowledge of visual merchandising and store layout optimization.
  • Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and retail analytics tools.
