Position Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Store Sales Representative with 2-3 years of hands-on
experience in retail sales, particularly in home appliances or consumer electronics. In this role, you will be
responsible for engaging customers, promoting products, closing sales, and contributing to the overall success of
the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for home appliances, strong communication skills, and a
commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing
product information and recommendations based on their needs.
- Sales Target Achievement:
Actively pursue sales targets and goals, ensuring consistent sales
performance by promoting products, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Product Demonstrations:
Conduct live demonstrations of home appliances, explaining product features
and benefits to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Customer Education:
Assist customers in understanding product specifications, usage, and maintenance
to ensure they get the most value from their purchases.
- Store Merchandising:
: Help maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout, ensuring products
are properly displayed and stocked.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels, report low inventory to management, and assist with
stock replenishment as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring
a high level of satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
- Problem Resolution:
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and efficient
manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales Reporting: Assist in tracking sales metrics and inventory levels to provide feedback and insights on
product performance and customer trends.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in retail sales, ideally within the home
appliances or consumer electronics sector.
- Customer-Centric: A strong customer focus with the ability to build rapport and deliver exceptional
service.
- Sales Skills: Ability to meet or exceed sales targets through effective selling techniques, upselling, and
understanding customer needs.
- Product Knowledge: Knowledge of home appliances, including but not limited to refrigerators, washing
machines, microwaves, air conditioners, and other household appliances.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively
with customers and team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, sharing ideas and contributing to team
success.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve customer concerns or issues quickly and effectively while
maintaining a positive customer relationship.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with lifting or moving products when
required.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems, basic computer applications, and mobile
devices for processing sales and inventory tasks.
Critical Key Responsibilities:
- Product Demonstration:
: Effectively demonstrate product functionality, particularly for home
appliances. This includes explaining various settings, highlighting key features, and showcasing energy
efficiency to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
- Inventory Management:
Assist with tracking inventory, monitoring stock levels, and notifying
management when items are low. Additionally, support the receiving and organization of product
deliveries to maintain an orderly store environment.
- Sales Goals and Targets:
Consistently work to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas. Achieving these
goals is a key part of performance evaluation and overall success in the role.
- Transaction Processing:Manage sales transactions at the point of sale (POS), including processing credit
card payments, handling cash, and issuing receipts to customers.
- Problem Resolution:Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns, addressing issues with
products or service. Resolve complaints when possible or escalate to management as needed to ensure
customer satisfaction.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role in the
home appliances or electronics industry.
- Basic knowledge of store merchandising and visual display techniques.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus, depending on the location.
Working Conditions:
Fieldwork, including travel to customer locations for on-site service.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing for Extended Periods: Sales representatives are required to remain on their feet for extended

- Lifting and Carrying: While heavy lifting and deliveries are typically handled by other team members,
sales representatives may be expected to assist with moving lighter items and helping customers with
selecting, carrying, or positioning products.
- Bending, Reaching, and Stocking: The role involves frequent bending, reaching, and stretching to access,
restock, and arrange items on shelves or displays. Sales representatives may also need to handle
packaging materials and adjust product placement to maintain a neat and attractive store environment.
